In this varied role, you'll play an important part in supporting the day-to-day running of our busy pharmacy while providing a first-class service to the local community.
Key responsibilities:- Greet customers warmly and assist with over-the-counter enquiries
- Dispense prescriptions accurately under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Manage stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries and rotating shelves
- Handle transactions at the till and process payments
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised pharmacy environment
- Support the wider team with administrative tasks and daily operations
- Signpost customers to appropriate services and advice when needed
What we're looking for:- A friendly, approachable manner with strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work well as part of a close-knit team
- A willingness to learn and develop within a pharmacy setting
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment is desirable but not essential
- A relevant pharmacy qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2) is a bonus, though full training can be provided
