Your Role:We are looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality clinical and educational support to patients with urology and continence needs. This role plays a vital part in supporting NHS colleagues, improving patient outcomes, and strengthening clinical services across the region.
We are particularly interested in hearing from Registered Nurses with experience in
continence and/or urology care, whether gained within acute, community, specialist, or primary care settings. We also welcome applications from candidates with a
paediatric nursing background, as this is an area we are looking to develop and expand within our team.

Key details:- Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Department: Homecare Woundcare, Ostomy & Continence
- Location: Field based covering the North East
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Contract: Permanent
Your main responsibilities:- Carry out comprehensive continence assessments and provide tailored clinical support
- Receive and manage referrals from NHS colleagues across urology and continence services
- Deliver education, training, and advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals
- Act as a clinical resource for NHS teams, providing additional capacity and expertise
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Actively identify and support appropriate business development opportunities on behalf of the company
What you’ll need to succeed:- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Working knowledge and experience within continence and/or urology care
- Confident working autonomously with strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly with patients and colleagues
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable managing your own workload
- Full UK driving licence
