Your Role:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality clinical and educational support to patients with urology and continence needs. This role plays a vital part in supporting NHS colleagues, improving patient outcomes, and strengthening clinical services across the region.

We are particularly interested in hearing from Registered Nurses with experience in continence and/or urology care, whether gained within acute, community, specialist, or primary care settings. We also welcome applications from candidates with a paediatric nursing background, as this is an area we are looking to develop and expand within our team.

  • Department: Homecare Woundcare, Ostomy & Continence
  • Location: Field based covering the North East
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Contract: Permanent

Your main responsibilities:
  • Carry out comprehensive continence assessments and provide tailored clinical support
  • Receive and manage referrals from NHS colleagues across urology and continence services
  • Deliver education, training, and advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals
  • Act as a clinical resource for NHS teams, providing additional capacity and expertise
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Actively identify and support appropriate business development opportunities on behalf of the company

What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Working knowledge and experience within continence and/or urology care
  • Confident working autonomously with strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly with patients and colleagues
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable managing your own workload
  • Full UK driving licence

  • Skills and role-related assessment(s) – an opportunity to showcase your expertise through activities relevant to the role.
  • Final interview (if required) – an opportunity to meet additional stakeholders and gain further insight into the team, function and wider business.

Interviews may be conducted virtually, by telephone or in person, depending on the requirements of the role.
