An exciting opportunity for a Community Team Manager has arisen with the West Norfolk Community Mental Health Team, based at Chatterton House. The team is supported by two Community Team Managers so you will work closely with another Community Team Manger.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team. This roleprovides operational leadership to a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and recovery-focused care for adults with complex mental health needs. The post holder is responsible for team performance, workforce management, clinical governance, patient flow, risk management and service improvement, working collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for service users and carers. They will promote high standards of quality, staff wellbeing and continuous improvement in line with organisational objectives and professional standards.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to provide visible, compassionate and effective leadership for the West Norfolk Community Mental Health Team, maintaining a strong presence across the service and fostering a positive culture of engagement, accountability and continuous improvement. You will lead and manage the day-to-day operational delivery of the Community Mental Health Team, ensuring the provision of safe, effective and recovery-focused care.Support, supervise and develop a multidisciplinary workforce, promoting staff wellbeing, professional development and high-quality clinical practice. You will ensure appropriate caseload management, workload allocation, capacity planning and workforce deployment to meet service demand safely and effectively. You will maintain robust clinical governance processes, including risk management, safeguarding, incident reporting, quality assurance and compliance with organisational policies. You will work collaboratively with service users, carers, primary care, acute services, social care and voluntary sector partners to deliver integrated, person-centred care. You will lead service improvement and transformation initiatives, supporting the implementation of best practice and innovation across the team. You will act as a professional role model and ambassador for the organisation's values, promoting equality, inclusion, learning and high standards of patient care.

Person Specification
Experience
Essential

• Able to demonstrate experience at a senior clinical level including staff management / supervision experience.
• Evidence of providing leadership in a Mental Health care environment including service development.

Desirable

• Previous experience of working with Complex case management.

Qualifications
Essential

• Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip SW or Dip OT or equivalent, or HCPC registered

Desirable

• Ongoing professional development working towards degree level
