As the welcoming face of the pharmacy, you'll help customers with their queries, assist the pharmacy team with dispensing tasks and ensure the smooth running of the branch. No two days are quite the same, and your contribution will make a real difference to the people we serve.
Key responsibilities- Greet customers warmly and provide a professional, friendly service at the counter
- Assist with the accurate dispensing and labelling of prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Handle sales, take payments and manage over-the-counter medicine requests responsibly
- Keep the pharmacy clean, tidy and well stocked, including replenishing shelves and rotating stock
- Support with prescription collections, deliveries and general administrative tasks
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and follow standard operating procedures
What we're looking for- A friendly, approachable manner and genuine care for customers and patients
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Good attention to detail and a calm, organised approach to your work
- Reliability, discretion and a willingness to learn
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or customer-facing role is welcomed but not essential, as training will be provided
