In this varied role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our patients, providing a warm, professional service while supporting the pharmacist and wider team with the smooth day-to-day running of the pharmacy.
Key responsibilities- Greeting customers and assisting with over-the-counter enquiries and sales
- Accurately dispensing and labelling prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Managing stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries and rotating shelves
- Handling prescription intake, collection and delivery processes
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented pharmacy environment
- Signposting customers to appropriate healthcare services when needed
- Supporting pharmacy services and promotions to benefit our local community
What we're looking for- A genuine interest in healthcare and helping people
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A friendly, approachable manner and the ability to work well within a team
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail setting is desirable but not essential
- A willingness to complete relevant training, such as the NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services, if not already held
