Key responsibilities:- Greet customers warmly and provide helpful, professional service at the counter
- Accurately dispense and label prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Assist with over-the-counter sales and offer general healthcare advice within your remit
- Manage stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries and rotating products
- Handle prescription queries and liaise with local GP surgeries when needed
- Keep the pharmacy clean, tidy and well-presented at all times
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all standard operating procedures
What we're looking for:- A warm, approachable manner and genuine care for customer wellbeing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a small team
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Reliability, discretion and a professional attitude
- Basic IT skills and confidence learning pharmacy systems
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare setting is desirable but not essential
- A willingness to undertake an accredited Pharmacy Assistant qualification (NVQ Level 2) if not already held
