In this varied role, you will be at the heart of the pharmacy, supporting our pharmacists and providing a warm, professional service to every customer who walks through the door.
Key responsibilities- Greet customers and provide a helpful, courteous service at the counter
- Accurately dispense and label prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Assist with over-the-counter sales and offer general product advice within your remit
- Manage stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries and rotating shelves
- Handle prescription queries and liaise with local GP surgeries when needed
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised pharmacy environment
- Follow all standard operating procedures and confidentiality requirements
What we're looking for- A warm, approachable manner with excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work well as part of a small, close-knit team
- A willingness to learn and, ideally, work towards a recognised pharmacy qualification
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- A commitment to patient confidentiality and professional standards
