There are two posts available x1 permanent at Colchester and x1 fixed term until 30 June 2027 at Ipswich.Main duties of the jobTo work closely with all members of the Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) across all specialties to assist with the active pathway management of all suspected and diagnosed cancer patients that are referred into the Trust
To assist in the tracking of the patient's pathway, from referral, through diagnostics, treatment planning and treatment, highlighting any potential delays in the pathway and ensuring accurate data collection to support the process.
To provide effective administrative support to ensure smooth facilitation and co-ordination of multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTs) on behalf of MDT Lead and Coordinators.
To assist in the accurate and complete data collection and input of cancer pathway investigations, COSD data and national audit datasets, such as NBCA, BAUS and NLCA
To provide assistance and support to other staff within the Cancer Services team.
