SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated General Practice Nurse to join our team at MyHealth - ideally someone with GP experience and a prescriber. This role is vital in delivering high standards of patient care and supporting our mission to keep the community healthy and informed.
Main duties of the job- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a general practice setting.
- Assist with chronic disease management including hypertension, diabetes, and respiratory conditions.
- Administer vaccinations as prescribed (Child/Adult).
- Conduct health assessments.
- Offer public health advice.
- Offer advice on diet, contraception, and travel immunisations.
- Perform wound dressings and assessments.
- Support nurse-led clinics and contribute to health promotion activities.
- Meet QOF targets.
- Take part in practice meeting, initiatives and compliance.
- Follow protocols and appropriate guidance.
- Willingness to develop and essentially keep up to date with CPD.
- Follow IPC standards.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Registered Nurse qualification with valid registration.
- Excellent patient care skills and compassionate approach.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of chronic disease management is desirable.
Desirable- Prescriber - desirable.
- General Practice background - preferred.
- Smear taker - desirable.
